We have been providing FMLA Employer Solutions ranging from FMLA self administration support services to fully integrated FMLA management with attendance tracking and medical claims management.  We provide services for employers ranging in size from 50 employees to multiple location employers (multiple states or countries) in union and nonunion environments. 

FMLA Medical Certification Review and Claims Management program.

THE BASIC HR Services~FMLA programs offer Medical Certification Review of FMLA claims. Often, Medical Providers do not fully understand terminology when evaluating and certifying a FMLA condition and/or frequently allow more time off than what is medically needed for recovery from a condition. The result is either inappropriate application of FMLA and/or extended leave under FMLA/STD. Approximately 81% of “Chronic Health Condition” claims are either, not properly categorized by the employee’s healthcare provider or the condition does not qualify as a FMLA condition

We contact the employer and employee to obtain authorization and background information and place a second call to the treatment provider when needed for additional clarification or need for leave (usually physician to physician) for an in depth analysis into the individuals condition and need for FMLA time off and discuss the appropriate FMLA certification for the employee’s condition.
